Fishing Report – March 20, 2014

Bull Shoals

As of Wednesday, the Army Corps of Engineers reports the lake’s elevation at 659.13 feet msl (normal conservation pool – 654 msl).

White River (Bull Shoals Tailwater)

Newland’s Resort below Bull Shoals said the water conditions are trending toward the low side, with a few mornings being the exception with moderate flows. nightcrawlers, pink Power Worms, yellow Power Bait and frozen shad have been the top producers around the dock latley. Sportsman’s White River Resort (870-453-2424) said the water is moderately clear and low. Trout are biting well. Rainbow trout are biting best on Power Bait and Power Worms. Brown trout are biting well on suspending stick baits, jigs and minnows.
